Sam's Club Hearing Aid Center (Lucid Hearing)

About Us

Sam's Club in Greenville, SC opened its Lucid Hearing Aid Center in the spring of 2011. Our licensed hearing aid specialist, Mark Selby (SC HAS-0435), has been helping people improve their quality of life with better hearing since 2003. Mark is grateful for the opportunity to partner with SCEDP and would be happy to assist you in filling out your application for the hearing-related assistive devices that you need.

Hearing tests are always free at Sam's Club, and you do not have to be a member to have your hearing tested at our Lucid Hearing Aid Center. After completing a thorough hearing test, you will be given a demonstration of the model of Lucid Hearing Aid that is best-suited for your particular hearing loss, unless wax removal or medical intervention is necessary, in which case, referrals to local doctors can be provided. Most of our customers will spend about 30 minutes being tested and another 15 minutes with the initial programming. After this, you will be presented with an explanation of your test results and will be given the opportunity to take the instruments for a "test drive" around the club. The entire process for someone who purchases hearing instruments and wears them home the same day usually takes about 2 hours.

The licensed specialists and audiologists at Sam's Club are not paid on commission. If hearing instruments are recommended for you, you will be given detailed information to help you make an informed decision about what technology would be best for your hearing loss, lifestyle and budget. Pricing starts as low as $1,399 for a pair of hearing aids, while the average price for a pair is around $3,000 and includes a 3-year repair warranty and a 3-year loss and damage insurance policy. Bluetooth smartphone connections and rechargeable batteries are also available options. A 90-day trial period with a 100% money-back guarantee is standard for all of our products.
